Not So Dark

We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark;
the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.
~ Plato

Yes, the waning "super" moon. It's still lovely.

Zelda and I hit the street early this morning. It was dark, but the remains of the super moon still hung high in the sky, lighting our way.

We didn't flash as bright as the school bus, but our lights were on - to wake up the drivers - flashing a warning that we were making our slow progress towards the park.

Mornings are a little bit of magic.

A few folks rushed to work, but we were mostly on our own. No birds sang until we reached the park. Then one by one the morning birds began to sing - singing us home.
