Coffee in hand DH and I walked to the park. Since retirement we have taken only a few walks together - some with dogs, some without. We once walked regularly to share what we had been doing at work or catch up on the kids and such. And, since I have been out of the house for a few days, we shared the stories of our week.
Our neighbors at the top of the hill (the ones with the cattle dog) have gotten a dog for their dog, it seems. The new pup is a brindle something-or-other with floppy ears and a puppy bounce.
Everything is ridiculously green for June.
The sound of a mower reminded us that there is work to be done today and we headed back to get started.
Some of the high water marks along the park creek. |
NOTE:
Forty-five minutes behind the mower. I expect at least 45 minutes more, but in the cool of the evening I expect.
We had some high water marks at the drive and sidewalk. But we are up 3 feet. Someone designed some things right. |
